In my previous works, I flesh out the entire concept before picking up a single can of paint. I know what I want it to look like, what feeling I want to focus on, and how I want to convey it. Then it is just a matter of what steps do I need to take to make this piece live up to what is in my head. I have to filter out a lot of thoughts while going through this process because my mind wanders and grabs onto new ideas very quickly and is reminded of things at random. With this piece I hoped to show my thought process and how my head works. Without the flash, even when talking with me you might not know how many things I am filtering out, and I wanted to put it out without any limitations at least once.
