Rain Or Shine
Life without connection is like a dog without a tennis ball. They’ll still get on with their day, but you won’t see that sparkle of pride in their eyes. It’s hard to notice all that others have been through—or are going through—because we can be so caught up in our own lives. For me, it’s usually a missed text, but it can also be a missed signal. You might walk through life with an umbrella, while someone else has to stay inside to avoid the storm. Check in on a friend you haven’t heard from in a while, or give your parents a call and ask about their day. It doesn’t take much effort—just a little bit of time.
