I think the premise of “right person, wrong time” is insincere. Often it is an excuse for not putting the work or intention toward building a lasting relationship - whether romantically or otherwise. You can be on either ends of the earth or just a few blocks down; nothing this good will come to you easily. It takes effort and ironically, time. It is worth a king’s ransom when being with them feels effortless in the face of exhaustion, and the hours you spend with them make every second feel priceless. The right person will do everything they can in spite of the facts- rather than excuses. Timing is not a good enough reason not to try. If you find yourself feeling the “timing is off”, ask yourself: is it the wrong person?
